Our primary fundraiser is asking for sponsorship for our current season. Individuals, families, and businesses can all be sponsors. Just choose the sponsorship level that’s right for you. All gifts are needed and deeply appreciated, from $1 to $1,000 and beyond! As a sponsor, you will be donating to a non-profit organization, which you can use as a charitable donation on your taxes.

Why donate?

​​The dance program at ARGS provides gifted dancers from across Central Virginia with a unique opportunity to receive a differentiated and rigorous education while preparing them to enter a collegiate dance program or embark on a pre-professional training track. Students audition for a spot to attend this public high school. They are selected from participating school divisions in:

Amelia Co., Colonial Heights, Hopewell City, Prince George Co., Surry Co., Charles City Co., Dinwiddie Co., Petersburg City, Richmond City, Sussex Co., Chesterfield Co., Franklin City, Powhatan Co., Southampton Co.

You can be an essential and appreciated part of this amazing arts community when you become a sponsor of the 2026-2027 dance season with a tax-deductible donation.

Your donation pays for expenses critical to students’ experience and training, such as costumes, production fees, guest choreographers, travel costs to field trips and dance conventions, and other items that aren’t included in the public school budget.

Your donation is tax-deductible. ARGS DAB, Inc. is exempt from federal taxes under section 501c3 of the Internal Revenue Code and a member of Parent Booster USA's (PBUSA) group exemption #5271. You will receive a receipt for your records. Plus, you’ll have the satisfaction of knowing you are making a direct impact on the lives of students in your own community.

● Warm-ups: Up to $60
Warm-ups are essential, and so is your support! Your name will appear in digital dance
programs all season long, and you’ll receive a thank you note from a member of ARGS DAB.

● Floorwork: $75-100
Help build consistency and momentum. You’ll receive everything from the warm-up level of
sponsorship, plus you’ll be thanked on our social media channels and ARGS Dance website.

● At the Barre: $150-250
Take it to the next level! For your donation, you’ll receive everything from the previous
levels, plus you’ll be listed as a sponsor on the dance website and on social media.

● Choreographer = $400-500
Leading and bringing the steps together. You’ll receive everything from the previous levels,
plus a digital ad in programs and monthly newsletters all year long, extra social media
mentions around performance dates, and a verbal shout-out at performances.

● Dress Rehearsal = $1,000
Turn practice into reality. For this level of support, you’ll receive everything from the other
levels, plus larger ads in programs and monthly newsletters, and a fun basket of dance swag.

● Opening Night = $2,000
The moment the magic happens! Sponsors at this level receive all the thanks and support of
the previous levels, plus the equivalent of a full-page ad in programs and newsletters and
monthly mentions in our social media channels.

Gifts in kind. Have a product or service that would be perfect to support the dancers? Contact us about donating food for performances and rehearsals, gift cards and goods for fundraisers (such as raffles), volunteering at events, and any other material donations you have in mind.
